Do not delete the eSIM
Switching a profile off is reversible; deleting it may not be. Many installation codes can only be downloaded once, so removal can make recovery impossible without provider intervention.
If the phone says the QR code has already been used, first check whether the profile is already present under Cellular, Mobile Service, SIM manager or Mobile network.
Select the correct data line
Choose the travel eSIM as the mobile-data line. On dual-SIM phones, disable cellular-data switching so the device does not move traffic back to the home SIM when signal changes.
Data roaming normally needs to be enabled for the travel eSIM because it connects through partner networks. Keep data roaming disabled on the primary SIM unless the home operator explicitly includes the destination.
Check APN and automatic network selection
If the order shows an APN, enter it exactly and leave username or password empty unless provided. Save and select the APN before restarting the phone.
Automatic network selection is the best first choice. If registration still fails, support may ask you to select one of the networks listed on the plan manually.
Force a fresh network registration
Turn Airplane Mode on for twenty seconds, turn it off and wait two minutes. If that fails, restart the phone with the travel eSIM enabled for data.
Roaming usage and status can be delayed, so refresh My eSIM before assuming that the allowance is empty or the package has expired.
What to send support
Include the order number, phone model, current country, a screenshot of SIM settings and the exact error. Do not send passwords or payment-card details.
A precise first message lets support check the provider order, supported network and APN without repeating basic questions.
